Set off at dawn in search of the White-fronted Redstart and discover the songs of the many species in the city's gardens and parks. After the outing, a complimentary breakfast, fun activities and a well-stocked information stand await you in the former premises of the Natural History Museum.
Meeting point: 5:30 am, at the top of the station's south elevators.
Duration: 2-hour outing from 5:30am to 7:30am, followed by activities in the former Museum premises from 7:30am to 8:30am/9am.

La Chaux-de-Fonds, convent wood
Discover the birds in the area of the Étang des Grandes Crosettes and the Bois du Couvent. Discover the evolution of songs and observations as the sun rises.
Meeting point: 5:30 am, Étang des Grandes Crosettes (between traffic circle and Carrosserie).
Duration: outing of around 1h30, from 5h30 to 7h00. Breakfast, entertainment and an information stand will follow in the former premises of the Natural History Museum from 7.30am to 8.30am/9am.

Val de Travers, La Presta
Morning walk around the restored La Presta biotope, along the Areuse and in the surrounding area. Participants will learn to recognize the songs of our most common bird species, and see some regional specialties, such as the Dipper and the Wagtail. The outing will end with a home-made tea/coffee (at the Café des Mines, at participants' expense, for CHF 5.-). Please specify when registering if you will be coming to the café.
Meeting point: 7:00 am at the La Presta Asphalt Mines.
Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours outing, from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Option to continue with home-made tea/coffee (at the Café des Mines, at participants' expense, for CHF 5.-, to be announced when registering).

Morning stroll around Montmollin to discover bird songs (no particular physical difficulties). The tour will be led by Didier Gobbo (Nos Oiseaux)
