As part of the exhibition"Entre les herbes: les oiseaux des prairies" ("Between the grasses: grassland birds"), come and discover the meadow sparrow at one of the canton's meadow sparrow sites, in the company of Christophe Perret fromEcoconseil.
The excursion will take place at Les Ponts-de-Martel, at 8:30 a.m. (each excursion lasts between 3 and 5 hours). Rapidly changing agricultural practices, such as changing mowing dates and intensifying land use, are having a negative impact on the availability of food and habitat for grassland birds. This excursion will allow us to see the extent of the problem and to discuss the rarefaction of the Skylark and the near disappearance of the Meadowlark in the area.
