It is only possible to take a one-day introductory course at the zoo. There are very few places available and to apply you need to send a covering email and CV to: info@muzoo.ch

Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed at MUZOO.
No, animals are not for sale. However, we sell young dwarf goats to private individuals as soon as they reach the age of 4 months. The sale is only approved if the future owners offer guarantees to ensure the animals’ well-being. They are only sold in pairs. A cafeteria offers a variety of food and beverages. In fine weather, a terrace is also open.
Picnics are available on the zoo grounds. A covered area under the terrace is available for groups on request.
The zoo is open 365 days a year. During summer time from 8:00 to 18:00 and during winter time from 8:00 to 17:00.
The museum and vivarium are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:45 during summer time, and from 10:00 to 16:45 during winter time. For holiday opening times, please see our opening times and prices page.

Yes, all the roads are paved. However, the main path is quite steep. The toilets at the museum and zoo are also adapted.
Yes. The zoo trains one animal keeper apprentice at a time. The square is currently occupied.
