REFERENCE EXHIBITION
The new reference exhibition, entitled “Plan B”, tackles head-on the theme of biodiversity and the threats it faces. More global, more topical, more worrying than any other, this subject is at the heart of a deliberately offbeat visual and sound project, at odds with conventional natural history museum scenography. The museum set itself the challenge of tackling a serious, complex theme in a simple, playful tone, limiting the use of text to encourage an intuitive approach. The exhibition texts are in French. However, English and German translations are available via the IZI Travel application. For those without a smartphone, tablets are available at reception.
TEMPORARY EXHIBITION
From December 15, 2024 to November 2, 2025. The artist Paul Barruel is in the spotlight at MUZOO. Boasting an abundant collection of drawings and sketches, the exhibition presents the works of the man who left his mark on naturalist art through the eyes of students at the Ecole d’Arts appliqués de La Chaux-de-Fonds. Numerous watercolors are presented alongside clothing and jewelry created by students inspired by Barruel’s work.
