REFERENCE EXHIBITION

The new reference exhibition, entitled “Plan B”, tackles the issue of biodiversity and the threats it faces head-on. More global, more topical, more worrying than any other, this subject is at the heart of a deliberately offbeat visual and sound project that breaks with the classic scenography of natural history museums. The museum set itself the challenge of tackling a serious, complex theme in a simple, playful tone, limiting the text to encourage an intuitive approach.

The exhibition texts are in French. However, English and German translations are available via the IZI Travel application. For those without a smartphone, tablets are available at reception.

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

From December 15, 2024 to November 2, 2025. EXTENSION to February 15, 2026!

The artist Paul Barruel is in the spotlight at MUZOO. Boasting an abundant collection of drawings and sketches, the exhibition presents the work of the man who left his mark on naturalist art through the eyes of students at the Ecole d’Arts appliqués de La Chaux-de-Fonds. Numerous watercolors are presented alongside clothing and jewelry created by students inspired by Barruel’s work.
